Election Amendment

An Amendment to the U.S. Constitution should be passed whereby U.S. Senators and House of Representatives must win with a majority of the General Election votes. If there’s no candidate with more than 50% of the vote, there would be a runoff election the first Tuesday in December with the two candidates with the most votes the only names on the ballot. The winner of the runoff wins the seat.

This way a candidate gaining less than half the voters’ choice wouldn’t be elected.

A Simple Example of Liberal Spending

The U.S. Budget Deficit for Fiscal Year 2011 was $1.296 Trillion…
The total wealth of the top 8000 Wealthiest U.S. Citizens is $970 Billion…
This simply means if our Federal Government assumed every dollar of the 8000, and every dollar assumed would be spent in lowering the Deficit, the 2011 Deficit would be cut to a mere $326 Billion!!! And we’d be well on our way to another $1 trillion Deficit in 2012, but without any Revenues from the now impoverished 8000!!!

Senator Reid Helping Obama’s Re-Election

It’s quite clear to me why Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid came out publically and announced he would ensure the Senate wasn’t going to pass a Budget.
This immediately allowed President Obama to begin – oh my goodness – agreeing – yes, the “A” word – with House Republicans – yes, those same Republicans he wouldn’t even meet with when he had a Super Majority House and Senate – on budget matters – positioning himself as a Prersident willing to “work with” Republicans – and not have to worry about vetoing a budget or announcing he’d veto a budget in his re-election year!!!
So, it’s obvious it’s time to not only vote out President Obama but Senator Harry Reid and his lemming Democrats!!!

The Sad Truth

The Sad Truth is our debt is already unsustainable!!!
The Sad Truth is our politicians know this!!!
The Sad Truth is our people don’t want to acknowledge this!!!
The Sad Truth is our children will live through yet another horrific Depression!!!
The Sad Truth is my generation (born 1946-1970) is responsible and we don’t take responsibilty for it!!!
With this said, I want my generation to stand-up and take responsibility and demand a Balanced Budget Amendment and include a clause prohibiting the Federal Government from borrowing monies!!!
I know this will collapse our economy NOW!!!
I also know NOW is better than LATER!!!

Obama and Debt Revisited

Senator Obama was a staunch supporter of the Bush Administrations’ Budgets… His only objections came in the form of wanting to spend even more… Then as President, Obama claimed President Bush spent us into our Debt Crisis, completely ignoring his Senate voting record… Then President Obama signed off/demamded on $6 trillion over spending in less than four years while wagging his finger at President Bush’s $4 trillion in eight years…
This is a human being not deserving a second term as President of the United States…

Foodstamp Madness

It’s reported in the Federal Government’s “Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program” (www.cbo.gov/budget) that in 2008 there were 28.2 million people on Foodstamps, and in 2011 there were 45.7 million people, an increase of 62%… and the budget for 2008 was $34.9 billion, and in 2011 the Foodstamp budget was $78 billion, an increase of 123%… This is spending gone amuck… We need to stop this madness and tell the U.S. citizenry what parents told their children when I was growing up: “Sorry, but we can’t afford it!”…
